This app is OK, but controls are kind of bad, if you release your finger it automatically shoots the bird

I spend 4.99 for this app and it doesnt load. it fails everytime the application is loaded.

You can get this game for iPhone for $0.99 but its $4.99 for Mac. I could have forgiven that if the game were the same, but there is no Path of the Jedi and no Millennium Falcon. So basically you pay five times as much for a stripped down version. Rovio wont be getting any more of my money, thats for sure. What a rip-off.

Just downloaded Angry Birds Star Wars. Was enjoying the play until they introduced the Han Solo bird. All the videos show him shooting forwards. Mine shoots backwards (looks like its shooting out his rear). Needless to say, this make play almost impossible. Boo. Waiting for Rovio to give me a reply from their support site.

When you go to the new levels it says Comming Soon"..Then you have to go to Facebook to Like still nothing…Why bother..

Rovio has done it again! The birds are awesome with their new powers, especially Princess Leia (pink bird), she can use her remote to make objects float in your direction! Han Solo (yellow bird) can shoot lasers in the spot you tap. Obi Wan Kenobi (black bird) uses the force to push objects when you get close, its almost like the original black bird. Chewbacca (the big red bird) does the same as the original. The Blue Birds (as rebel pilots) do the same as they do in the original. And finally, Luke Skywalker (red bird) spins his lightsaber when you tap the screen. There are three worlds and one bonus world (golden eggs), and we all know there are more coming. With all of that said, this game is worth the money, it is packed with fun for all ages. I only put four stars because other than the things I mentioned, that is all you can do in the game. And again, this game is worth the Money.

GREAT game...once I got the hang of it I am so happy again. I love Angry Birdies of all types...heh.....SOoooo destressing....THANKS! ABOUT HAN SOLO BIRD!!!! YOU HAVE TO CLICK WHERE YOU WANT THE BULLETS TO GO...if you just click he shoots randomly or backwards....so its different - click on the TARGET, not the bird. I had to ask Rovio because I though the same as other posters about this.....seems silly now, but the directions evern then were murky. Good luck!

This version is very fun and I have nothing bad to say about it. How ever an I issue I did have was upgradeing from Snow Leopard to Moutain Lion messed up just this version of AB. I had the Original, Seasons, Space and this one before I made the change to the new 10.8.2 OSX. All my progress on both Space and Star Wars got wiped out. Annoying sure but I can replay and gain it back. The problem is with Star Wars the birds powers dont work at all. I can only launch them from the sling shot making them dead weight no matter what bird I use. I made sure with Apple that the issue wasnt on their end and that it was on Rovio to fix it. I have tried numerous times to contact them but they dont respond beyond what I am sure is an automated response email anyone would get. I of course made sure all the updates are current before writting this so thats isnt the isse either. To further make things annoying it seems I am the only one having this issue because no amount of internet research into a fix or similar problems has come up. Note this I feel the game absolutely diserves a 5 star rating but the 1 star rating Im giving it is for Rovios utter lack of a response let alone a fix. Any help from the fellow gamers out ther would be much appreciated thank you so much if you can.

Like this version, its cool. like the birds powers. Also like the minnie games. But I like Bad Piggies Better. They Should Make Angry Birds Transformers.

Why are the Boba Fett Levels and the Path of the Jedi Levels omitted from the desk top versions of this game! Lame! Ill happily change my rating to five stars when this boneheaded policy has been changed.

I agree, laptop version is lacking key elements available only on the phone; for a purchased product all version should have the same content. Please update laptop version.

Each time it gets to a new bird, it just shoots the bird wherever my mouse happened to be pointing before I can click., making it impossible to hit anything.

I just dowloaded the thing and it wont open. The same thing happened with Angry Birds Seasons. Id really like my money back.

I am not sure what everyone is complaining about, I downloaded the most recent update the day it came out and I have not had any issues at all. So I would say you have other issues with your computer if this game is causing it crash, or act "wonky" as another review said. The only reason why this is not a full 5 stars is more from my impatience than anything, but not knowing when the next update is coming out frustrates me a bit.

I wonder. My computer works perfectly with all my other apps and all other on line usage. The only problem I have with it is this game and the original Angry Birds game since the last updates. Its not my Mac. Which works fine for a few minutes while playing this game then the track pad goes completely haywire. The ONLY time this occurs is whle playing this game and the original Angry Birds with the latest updates. The other Angry Bird games work just fine. So far.

Honestly, its hard to play an Angry Birds game ment for touchscreens on a Macbook. Controls seemed very out of line and it was much harder to play than on a iPod, iPhone, or even iPad. The Mobile version also seemed more of a pick up and play experience with the same addicting gameplay while Angry Birds on Mac didnt want me coming back for more each time I got on my computer. Now, I got a give it to Rovio, the game LOOKS great but Angry Birds…anything…dosent have its place on Mac.

I played the demo on my Macbook air 2011 and loved it so i bought the full version but it when i opened it, it showed the loading page and then closed PLEASE FIX! I think i’m gonig to get a refund if i can Don’t Download until update!!!

It ran fine on my 2011 Macbook Pro. (base model) I had a blast with the R2D2 Eggs. I can’t wait until ABSW 2 comes out on Mac.
