Angry Birds Star Wars App Reviews

Not even close to the original Angry Birds. Levels are sluggish and slow moving. I won’t be completing this game… will probably just trash it.

I really dont get way the iOS version has some features the Mac OS doesnt, specifically the Dagobah levels and Mighty Falcon. This is a bit frustrating: why should I have to get an iPad, iPhone or iPod to play something my computer is perfectly capable of doing — and for which I was charged? Otherwise, just to let you know: yes, it is awesome, the best Angry Birds so far.

I applaud Rovio for innovating on the Angry Birds franchise by combining these two unlikely words. Every Star Wars fan is going to get a big kick out of this game. This is the penultimate version and is destined to become a classic. It would be easy for Rovio, a billion dollar company now, to rest on their laurels, instead they have taken the gameplay to a whole new level. The level design, the sounds, and the cast of characters will bring hours of fun to anyone that is a fan of Angry Birds or Star Wars. Say goodbye to productivity when you install this app!

The amount of work put into this to actually set it apart from the other games is crazy! The story plot, the detail, the music even. The characters are adorable and it does star wars proud! Really fun, possibly even more addicting then angry birds itself. SO HAPPY with this idea.

This is pretty awesome. Using the Black Bird is a little tough. Path of the Jedi is missing by the way.

This was my first and last Rovio purchase. I cant actually see what all the hype is about, sure, you have to think just a little about where to place the bird, but it is obvious 99% require the first bird to do all the damage to get full points. Hence, the rest of the birds are useless. Also, the upgrades are more of a waste of time than the game is, none of them work. I have 3 stars in all levels, nothing, have been trying for a week to download the Hoth upgrade, no luck. Even e-mailing Rovio has offered no solutions. Rovio should make sure their apps are working before they are released, and any other big ticket movie that is thinking of signing onto this franchise should think twice, Star Wars you blew it.

Heres a little story about wasting 5$ on an application. If you compare the Mac OS X application to the iOS one, this one is a scam. It miss: - GameCenter features ; - In-app purchase ; - Access to all levels ; And how about iCloud sync Rovio? I would love to do some levels on my Mac and be able to retrieve my progress on my iPad! As I am writing now, the iPad version of this game is at 0,99$, go for it! Dont buy the Mac version until they fix this scam!

Combining Stars Wars with Angry Birds was an interesting idea. Hopefully more of these diversions will be made. Lots of potential. Great game!

I have liked all the Angry Birds applications (Rio, Space, Star Wars) that have come out. Enough said there. **I have a note though for any Angry Birds Star Wars or Rio users, hold off on updating both as they (on my systems) have both been renamed to just Angry Birds and this may cause one to be overwritten by the other (depending on which you update first). I have already sent an email to Rovio noting this. Be warned before you update therefore.**

Its all about winning the level on the first or second bird, if you dont, you get 1 or 2 stars. The levels are fairly hard but theres only one or two ways to get 3 star, unlike the older versions of angry birds where you can do almost everything to get 3 stars, and this incomplete mac version is overpriced compared to the finished version on iOS.

The apps quailty isnt bad, but I did not know that this does not support Game centre, which totally ruined my reason of buying this game… I hope this supports Game centre soon, so i can continue my game from my iPod!

Overall, this game is far more dynamic than any of the other Angry Birds games - in addition to the numerous and varied abilities granted by use of the different birds, turrets and shooting pigs are encountered, and add to the complexity/fun of the game. I was pleased to find that some levels were modeled after Angry Birds: Space, whereas others were modeled more after the original Angry Birds; the varied gameplay makes the game more addictive than previous entries (except maybe the original), and adds replay value. Definitely worth purchasing.

This game is loads of fun, but if you have a regular Mac mouse, you cant fire to the front. Most of the levels I was able to pass, but there is no way to get past level 32 without front firing capabilities. I hope this is a bug that gets fixed soon. I love it on my iPad.
