Pretty boring, actually...

Its all about winning the level on the first or second bird, if you dont, you get 1 or 2 stars.

The levels are fairly hard but theres only one or two ways to get 3 star, unlike the older versions of angry birds where you can do almost everything to get 3 stars, and this incomplete mac version is overpriced compared to the finished version on iOS.
